Appraisal Database and Mentoring Services™ (ADAM™) is a subsection of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts™ (NACVA®),
established when the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) merged into NACVA in July 2012.
ADAM subscribers receive a suite of services and benefits previously only available to IBA members, and with a few enhancements. First and foremost, these services/benefits, among many, include access to the
IBA Market Database of 37,000+ business purchase/sales transactions. ADAM subscribers also receive a free copy of the quarterly
Business Appraisal Practices (BAP) publication (CPE credits are optional for a small fee), considered for 20 years as an industry icon on technical matters.
New to ADAM, is a free monthly webinar magazine entitled, "Around the Valuation World™ in 90 Minutes", providing highlights as reported in over 30 industry
publications (CPE credits are optional for small fee).
ADAM subscribers, if not already a member of NACVA, receive a 10% discount off most all courses offered at the Consultants' Training Institute (CTI), plus the NACVA
and partners sponsored Annual Consultants' Conference held each June.
Post merger, the IBA remains intact for the purpose of supporting its Certified Business Appraisers (CBA) credential in all its regards, and to continue to support as a party to the industry's unified Professional
Standards. To be a member of the IBA, one must hold or be in pursuit of the CBA credential, and be a subscriber to ADAM. No additional fees are required. Anyone wishing to obtain the services and benefits ADAM
offers may subscribe.
